What Now?

do I learn from it
assume it never happened
run from it
like a saint to sin

take it with water
and swallow it with my pride
shamefully surrender
and tuck the pain inside

do I laugh it off
as just another mistake
see it as a dream
and tomorrow I'll awake

perhaps define it as a test
a crucible trial
embracing a journey
having only preceded a mile

what now?
solicit God's observation
spit on hell's laughter
contemplate reincarnation!
